Max (tiger) and Kisa (lion)

The EFRC rescued Max from a terrible facility in Flat Rock, Indiana, after the Indiana DNR determined his owner could not properly care for him. Kisa was rescued shortly after Max and they were introduced as new playmates. While they are now bigger than they are in this photo, they still live together and, if Kisa had her way, they would play all day.
