Circus Tigers
These ten original tigers, The Circus Tigers, came to the EFRC in 1997 after spending their entire lives performing in a traveling circus. When they weren’t performing they lived in 40” x 90” cages. Badly abused and ranging in age from three to fourteen, almost all of these tigers required dental work to repair prior damage. Their move to the EFRC has provided them with a better life, including things they had never known, such as grass, climbing towers and water tanks. One of the circus tigers, Prince, is now 18 years old and the EFRC’s oldest cat.
