Navi (black leopard) and George (leopard)

Navi and George live together with George's brother, Rodney. All three cats were confiscated by the US Fish and Wildlife Service. Navi came to us from Ohio when she was just 3 months old. A man purchased her and gave her to his wife as a Christmas present. Since it is illegal to sell endangred species across state lines authorities stepped in and removed her from their home. George and Rodney were rescued by the EFRC from a private home in Long Island, New York, where authorities found the leopards freely roaming the residence (with children present) and the man's wife chained to the staircase.
