JUNE 2014 ENEWS FOR THE EXOTIC FELINE RESCUE CENTER
**NEW YORK RESCUE**
The end of May brought five tigers to their forever home at the Exotic Feline Rescue Center. EFRC staff made the long drive to New York State to rescue these five needy tigers. Further details regarding the rescue and the tigers will be in the July Enews.
RUN THROUGH THE JUNGLE
We want to thank everyone for attending our annual 5K run. We had over 500 runners and walkers. The weather was great and the cats were awesome.
June 21st is our first Evening Roar of the year. Please join us for wine, beer, hors d’oeuvre and desserts after an extended tour of the EFRC. Please click on the link below for more information.
We are proud to announce Camp Roar 2014 is now open for registration. 8-11 year old children are invited to experience a camp like no other in Indiana. Campers will enjoy learning about our lions, tigers, leopards, pumas, servals and bobcats while taking part in educational activities that will include BIG CAT and endangered species facts, rescue stories of our resident felines, and the day-to-day running of the rescue center. Please click on the link below for more information.
FAMILY CAMP ROAR
Be the first to enjoy Family Camp Roar 2014 at the Exotic Feline Rescue Center. We are proud to announce this wonderful experience for families. Take part in a three-hour camp that will include learning about our resident lions, tigers, leopards, pumas, servals and bobcats along with many of the same educational activities that our Camp Roar campers enjoy. We are proud to announce a Dining to Donate fundraiser for the Exotic Feline Rescue Center. This event will take place at the Applebee’s restaurant located at 10325 N. Michigan Road, Carmel, IN 46032 on June 29th. Applebee’s will donate 15% of total purchases. Click on the link below for more information.
Did you ever think that you could travel to Center Point, IN and spend the night with lions and tigers? You can. Please plan a visit to enjoy our overnight experience at the Exotic Feline Rescue Center. With this experience, you will receive two passes to the EFRC and will have the opportunity to sit at the picnic table just outside your room to observe several cats. After a great night of sleep, you will meet a keeper and receive an awesome tour of the restricted area. This is an experience that only occurs at the EFRC. You will leave with a new understanding of the cats and their needs. We hope everyone takes time from their busy schedules to come spend the night with our BIG CATS. You will not be disappointed, you will be inspired. Please click on the link below for more information.
